I serve as Ranch Manager at Deer Mountain Sanctuary, a rugged 2,000-acre ranch north of Mount Shasta. I am a Savory Accredited Field Professional and EOV Master Verifier, and I support the EOV Global Network through my work on the Global Quality Assurance team. My passion lies in training others in ecological monitoring and fostering meaningful reconnection between people and land. We operate a custom grazing program, with cattle on the land from April through November. As part of this work, we offer a mentorship program with 1–2 placements available each season. These two-month immersive stays provide a unique opportunity to engage deeply in daily ranch operations, develop practical skills, and learn within a working regenerative landscape.
