Hi! My name is Sarah and this is me at 4 with my great-grandpa, Matt Keegan, a third generation cattle rancher in Northern California. While I didn't grow up on the ranch, an appreciation for the land was instilled in me at a young age.

Like many others, I've dreamed about one day living on a farm. But without being raised on one and given that generational knowledge, not knowing where or how to start a farm is overwhelming.
Add in the crisis of farmland succession and FarmRoots was born. I believe there is a disconnect between novices who want to get into farming and farmers who want to pass on their legacy.
